FAQ

Fishing fun for the whole family in Sedona, AZ

Do you need a reservation?
No, we operate on a first come first serve basis! You are welcome to come in anytime during business hours, but note that we do not start anyone fishing within a half hour of closing. It's always better to come earlier if you can!
When are we busy?
Our busy season starts in the spring and lasts into the fall, with summer being our busiest time of year. Generally we are busiest Friday-Sunday, especially on holiday weekends.

During busy times, it becomes even more important to get here as early as you can. We do not turn people away, but there may be a wait to get started or be helped when we are very busy.
Are we open through the winter?
Yes! We are open all year, even though the winter. However, we do reduce hours of operation in the colder months. If you can stand the weather, this is often a great time to fish here!
How likely is it to catch a fish?
While this does somewhat rely on seasonal factors and how recently we have stocked, generally it is safe to assume you will catch fish. Oftentimes it is more about how many fish you will catch rather than if you will catch any!
Can you catch and release?
No. Our fish are fragile and usually die when released. We ask that you please keep every fish that you catch so that no fish go to waste.
Can you use your own fishing equipment?
For the safety of our fish and our patrons, we do not allow the use of any outside fishing bait or tackle. However, we provide everything you need to have a great time fishing!
How much does it usually cost?
Our fish usually average around 10 inches, and we charge $1 per inch. So it's safe to estimate paying at least $10 per fish caught, plus a little more for extras you might want (cleaning, ice, seasoning, etc).
